𝑴𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝒓𝒐𝒐𝒎 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒅𝒆𝒍𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕!

Recently, I was chatting with a lovely young mom. As we talked her 4 year old piped up, because he was there and had something to add to the conversation. Love that!

He began telling me that he is learning the alphabet and the sounds each letter makes as well as a word that begins with that sound. This week they are working on the letter ‘D’.

On and on he demonstrated his skills. When he got to ‘D’ he was a bit stuck, couldn’t quite find a word that began with the sound.

Mama, being a very smart woman asked him what sort of animal Petey is? For the record, Petey is their beloved 9 month old boxer, she expected to prompt him to say dog of course.

Without hesitation, little guy piped up with amazing confidence ‘𝐏𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐲!’

I encourage you to make room for unexpected joy and to celebrate each event or moment.
